Is nearly done. So what Horses, People, achievements etc are you proud of in the year 2007????

For me it must be my younger sister and her boy King. They have had heaven and hell this year and she has come from novice to a decent intermediate rider. So proud

Came 1st (76%) in our first ever walk and trot prelim dressage at the age when me AND horsey-o (the one with only one eye) really should have been at home with our pipe and slippers!!!! Yay!!! Am NOT gonna grow old gracefully!!!!

Winning or being placed in every dressage test I competed my mare in this year including Novice tests (this is the first year we have really done any dressage). Also winning 3 classes (Ridden Coloured, Cob Type and Riding Club Horse) at one show. I have had my mare for 7yrs, but this year was the 1st year we have done much competing.

[/ QUOTE ] I did that too - though with 72.3%. I too should be taking care of creaky old joints, but I'm having way to much fun. Resolution for 2008 is to polish up the canter and do our first affiliated prelim class by the end of the year

hope hes ok not heard a word since.

Then in August came Charlie, such a short time he was here until 2 weeks ago, lovely horse typical TB drama queen but hes gone onto someone who used to ride him years ago , strange how things work out

And now just got Annie, feels odd havent have just one for a long long time lol Looking forward to 2008 and hoping for a new addition to the horsey family in summer.

In the last 7 months my daughter has taken her horse from jumping 2'06" - 2'09" at local shows to jumping double clears in Newcomers at Affiliated shows. Additionally she has been placed at various shows in Prelim Dressage Tests & actually won her first ever Novice Test.

She set herself some realistic goals & has far exceeded them. I'm so very proud of all the hard work & dedication she has shown.

I think everyone knows mine, but hey it means I can post the pics again! I am so proud to be the owner of my first horse after waiting and dreaming for 30 years:

Had highs and lows. Acheived my abmition of competing in RC dressage, got placed on 3 occasions ands did not vomit.

Downside was getting a horse for my daughter - nightmare, and putting outr house on the market. Next years resolution is to either sell and find a replacement horse for daughter or to get her going properly and hopefully sell our house!

Highs - most of it really!! Horses have been great this year - took them to their first show

Lows would def be being flooded out and B's illness, but she's better now.
