Right people here is my dilemma, horse an arse, bolshy, opinionated, thinks he's boss.

Want to get him back into work before i loose my bottle completely, he is now being led out the stable instead of i can do what i want and take myself out thank you, err no your not! first change lol, second being tacked up every day to get used to it. Third change take the lead (me i mean lol) you do what i want not what u want, horse i don't think so prancing around on the spot, finally settles down and does what i want, which is to stand there patiently  actually does it :) im quiet surprised myself to just get as far as i have in one day taking none of his nonsense seen as he has taken the pee out of me for so long as i not been well and he knows his strength.

Now i would like to start taking him out just for walks as he is very spooky ridden im thinking if i start from the ground he will be so much better ridden, any suggestions on how i should tackle this x

I would teach him to long rein and if you have some help I would long rein him out with someone near but not near enough to be jumped on at his head. that way he is on his own and knows he has to be self reliant. If he is spooky it will mean no one is near enough for him to leap into their pocket. Leading on the floor is more dangerous than riding in my opinion if they are likely to spook If no help I would lunge him and get on and take him out
