Hi all... What are you horsey goals this year? Let's hear them!
Mine are:
A) ride at least 4 times a week with the kids.
B) TRY and compete once a month.....
C) save money 🤑 (I wish 🤣🤣)
D) convince my husband that we NEED another horse
E) win the lottery 😁

I'm just hoping that our 2 horses achieve good health this year. A 25 year old has had colic surgery & is looking so god that we've just started long reining him to start to get him fit. He's really enjoying it & has a smiley face. The other who is 21 yrs old has had some lameness & at present in having electric shock therapy which seems to be helping him. They have been fit & injury free for most of their years but the last 12 months have been a worry. The colic surgery we had done because they were not needing to remove anything it was a replace everything to where it should be. The morning after the 3 hour surgery we visited him in the stable & he was perky & had a smile on his face he looked like nothing had happened. We really shed some tears the 24 hours that he showed the colic & was the operated on. We really felt good when we saw him at the vets the following day. 👍 👍 👍 👍 👍

I started mine before new year!, inspired by a news article about a pensioner who used her bus pass to travel to towns and cities to litter pick, I decided I was tired of seeing rubbish in the hedges on my daily dog walk, so bought some bin bags to take with me, two days in & I've picked three bags full - mostly cans which have gone in my recycling bin. I'm hoping it will get to a stage where the bin bag stays in my pocket, but we'll see on that one.
Otherwise, just the usual - give up alcohol save money, lose weight & decorate the house (note none of these will happen) but my wombling exploits will continue as I love my walking
