In Denver tonight - hope the ladies have found boyfriends to keep them warm!!! Otherwise I will have to send poor Pablo out to hug them!!

My mate lives just o/s Denver (about and hours drive!!), don't ask me where coz I'm hopeless with names. Have you got any snow? Went skiing in Steamboat a few years back.

If they have coats anywhere as thick as my lot have then they won't care. I was watching the snow falling yesterday, the ponies are so well insulated that the snow was just settling on their backs. It's warm here then, only -6C today and getting warmer by the minute, the snow has all melted

The have had about 5-6+ feet of snow so far this year - but with this round there has been no snow. They produce amazing coats, and really as long as their food do not seem overly concerned with it. They are outside being horses - the best way for them to cope.

Can you send some of the cooler stuff this way? I'll send you some heat in return. It was 43C here about an hour ago, it's probably hotter now but I'm not game to venture outside. Poor horsies being silly and not standing in the shade...

I wish it was that hot here - or even just a bit hot..........I need to go on holiday asap, I hate winter!!

The snow has all been washed away, we now have torrential rain

From frozen ruts to muddy slush again, oh whoopee!

There almost NO snow at all left on the Jura mountains alongside Geneva now. It's far too warm for January. People were walking around in teeshirts yesterday !!
