275g - 300g stable rug?

I am looking for a rug around this weight? has anyone got any recommendations? Only one I have found so far is a Weatherbeeta Jasper one.

ponywarma by shires is 300g and goes up to 66" . The horse ones are all 375g though

Its a difficult weight. its between a medium and a heavy.a normal medium is about 200gm and a heavyweight starts at 350g and goes up. you will find it easier to get a 200g and a fleece. That will provide you with the warmth you want

yeah would look a bit stupid.

Don't think you're going to find that weight in a horse rug. As Boswrth says might be easier to double up!

My friends have just started up a mobile rug business and are selling Rhinegold rugs at BARGAIN prices. I know they can get hold of 300gsm stable rugs - prices are £32. They also a 4oz lightweight quilt at £25. If you are interested then please PM direct, as naturally I'm new on this forum and don't want to be accused of blatant advertising. I know they have CD available which they are sending out to people if you are interested in getting one from them. Their most expensive stable rug is £45.00.

I love my Weatherbeeta Jasper, fits my horse a treat. Horsewear do the Amigo Insulator heavy which is 300g. I think Kingshead also do one?
