Who is doing the paddock introductions? I’m sure earlier she said the horse was in a ring bit but I’m 99% sure the horse was in a loose ring and being lead up in a chifney!

Just looked as his form. He has a pulled up a few times. Don’t like to see it though when pushing early. Glad they pulled him up.

A ring bit is an all-in-one with the chifney. I don't know who is doing the intros as mainly watching on RTV.

I know what a ring bit is having previously worked in industry but I personally do not count those as the same thing - especially as the most common chifney, except those in the Tattersalls ring style, have a shaped mouth pieces whereas the Dexter ring bit is a circular shape like the Tattersalls - except that one brand that uses a straight edge along the mouthpiece but once again brain fog means I can’t remember who makes it

Either way the information she gave was incorrect as it would imply the horse would be racing wearing the chifney along with the loose ring in the style of a ring bit which the horse didn’t.

I think it was Adele Mulrennan (sp?), it’s not the first time she’s called equipment the wrong thing.
