I will give you a full report once I am home.- But reading this through you probably won't want one :P.
Trot Up- They agreed Pip had 4 working legs, as did all the British team. Quite a few people commented on how smart we were. We then had to be mesured- We are not sure if that was because some one said an English pony was over height or because they just forgot. The English ponies mesured between 103cm and 148, So all within height, just.
Pip is 140 exactly

.On that day Pip exercised well, not too bright abit long and low but that was probably because the arena was flooded and very deep. It still hasnt stopped raining!
Presentation- This is pretty much tack and turnout. Usually I am not the best
tongue.gif
, because I'm rubbish at cleaning and plaiting and I do it all my self with out a large band of helpers many get
smirk.gif
. We got the cleanest we have ever done
tongue.gif
, and my plaits were okish. We went in and did it, one judge didn't like the way his curb was lying, and another wanted the cheek peice buckles the same height as the throat lash, but our off the peg synthetic can't do that and allow Pip to breath. We also got certified as safe and the carriage is the correct width. To our surprise we came 5th, out of alot. The 2nd judge asked if Pip could live at his stables. One judge Put us 1st, and the others 6th and 14th. We had 78%. In my age a welsh girl came 1st, England 2nd, England joint 3rd and Me Joint 5th. And obviously
alot of people came behind
tongue.gif
. In the age group down England got 1 and
2.I exercised Pip after and he was great until someone raced past us and he
bucked and after that he was silly and wouldn't settle.Dressage- We exercised very early as we weren't on till 2.10, I was on
feeding duty and finished on a bad note the day. before. Due to the weather
there is nowhere to go- The tracks in the woods put him in marathon mode,
the track puts him in race mode and the practice arena makes him heavy.
we ran through the test one in the heavy Arena and left it there. Warming up for dressage we just trotted a lap did some of the transitions and cleaned up as there is a mark for presentation but the track is flooded. We were 2nd last to go after the English 4 times indoor champ. he went really well for him, as accurate as I drove and calm and Rythmical in his 'outline'. We got 65%, with only 2 5's and quite a few 8's. That put us in 9th
grin.gif
. We are 15 pens, or 5 cones off lead. Although only 9 points off 2nd. England got 1st, 2nd me in 9th and 10th with walsh in about 5th and 6th. In the age group below we got 1st, 5th and 9th while in the age group below that we got 2nd 6th and a few in the late teens.

All in all a good few days

, with pretty much every British competitor in the top half
