3.5 tonne horsebox’s

We are looking at 3.5 tonne boxes the market is silly at the moment an they sell quick!after asking a few sellers if the side panels are reinforced they have said no! Should they be? ? I assumed so but maybe I am wrong as not many seem to be! Its a minefield : /
Any other advise?

I had mine reinforced after I bought it. They don’t tend to be reinforced as standard

It was a straightforward job which cost me about £200 (they also fixed some other stuff at the same time).

Think it depends who you’re buying from. Best to check the builder is creditable and not just a hobby builder out to try making a few £££s. Better an older well built one than a pretty cheap one.
