I have just bought a 3.5t forward facing sprinter. Its fab. love it.

HOWEVER. The breast bar is FIXED, its also high! its 4'4" - in my trailer i would have her breast bar on the lower one which is 3'8". (horse is 16hh)

SO what height are your breast bars in your horseboxes and also are they full partitions, (this is open underneath)

Does your collaspe? - and is it so important to have a collaspable facing forward?

And if i have to change it - I have no idea how to or what to get thats collaspable?

I had a bar in my 3.5t, it wasn't as high as yours and it was a single piece, rather like one in a trailer. It has a pin either end and on the end of the centre partition which you could remove and push the bar out in emergencies. I never worried as much with the forward lorry as the door was to the side and there was very little room in front of the horses so I think they would have been very disinclined to try and climb over.
