A coach built horsebox or a van conversion? The van conversion would carry up to 16hh and have a bigger pay load than the coach build, but this would carry a bigger horse. The van would also be a cheaper to hire as purchase costs, insurance etc would all be a bit lower. I know what I'd prefer, but thougt I'd see what everyone else thinks
 
I would always worry that a van conversion is not structurally sound. On here a few weeks ago a lorry had an accident the horse put its foot though the wall and the ramp came open. I hire a purpose built 3.5tonne and would rather pay more for safety.
