3.5ton for 1 horse with nice living, anyone have or know?

I will only ever travel 1 horse so can sacrifice some payload, so I would like nice living at the rear.

Does anyone know any manufactures that offer this? Thinking small sink, hob, seats that convert to a bed? Basically somewhere to retreat in the winter and the odd stay away. Really don't want the costs of running a bigger lorry. But I think that may be the way to go...

I had a look at a couple of his because like you I didn't need a massive payload. He has some interesting options within the 3.5 ton category.

Be aware though, selling on a 3.5 ton with reduced payload will be very hard. In my experience people are wanting more & more payload over fancy living areas.
Also it is very easy to eat into payload with pretty basic stuff which could make your horsebox illegal even with just the 1 horse

Have a look at the Tru Leisure web site. We have one of these with a sink and tap and cupboard underneath, tack cupboard with hooks for haning coats etc and large trunk which is also a bench seat. These can be made into a fold down bed, storage over luton area. There is plenty of room is this box and it is great to drive. Also has awning on the back for sunny days at shows. For cooking we take a camping stove and use the gas canisters that look like aerosols. If you start take the blue heavy gas bottles you will go over your pay load even with one horse as under the sink is a large plastic container for the water for the tap. We also have to carry water in container for the horse so more weight.
