I want to give my new yard owner Sue a big cheer!

Long story short, my new mare had mild lami recently and I am only on grass livery. The yard I was at were very put out by my request for a small bare paddock to be fenced. (There was plenty of bare spaces and tons of fencing, i offered to do it myself) Anyway I started to panic and get upset so started to look else where. Found a yard a mile down the road and Sue could not be more helpful! Sorted me a bare paddock and stable, ordered all my hay and straw, spoke to me many times on the phone while i panicked and she sorted me out. I paid a months notice at my old yard, but Sue insisted I come to her early and not pay for the extra time!

She truly is fabulous and I wish all yard owners were like her.

Anyone else want to praise someone at their yard?

I am a bit biased as my yo is a good friend but nothing is too much trouble :) dependent on vetting today new steed shoujd arrive next weekend and my old box wasn't free, I go for big horses so prefer one on the foaling boxes, the foaling box thy is free has a door right next to a bitey horrible mare so they are moving the door :)

That is really nice! I find business people in horsey trades don't seem to comply with normal rules of customer service etc a lot of the time, some act like you should be grateful they're accommodating you at all!

I second this, not an easy job at all. On a great yard, lots of fun people and yard owners that you can trust in an emergency and also step in and help if you have a crisis, and also very understanding about stable space and possessions when a horse has had to be put down. five stars in my book!!

I thought my last yard was good, until I had a problem...
My new yard is small and is basically the lady's land with all her horses, 3 liveries including me and then a few teenagers that part loan her ponies. It just feels really nice. Its spotlessly clean and tidy and you can tell she really takes pride in her yard. I think myself and my ponies will be very happy here :O)

I'm on a new yard with my new horse and my yo is just AMAZING! so is the yard and all her liveries. I am so lucky to be there, everything is so well looked after and maintained properly, the horses are so well kept, she is so accomodating, friendly, happy and such a nice person to be around. nothing is too much trouble, my stable was cleaned and painted for me moving in, she organises all our hay/bedding/feed that we need, she is just brilliant!! :D :D :D
