Should I be worried!

Until now it has all been material things. The boundaries are as secure as we can make them without involving the military. They are freezemarked and micro chipped. But someone definately appears to have been trying to feed them on the boundary fence which has a bank in the hours of darkness overnight. Very rural location so no other real explanation for it.

What do you guys think?

what area are you in? Are you aware of any other thefts in the area? Have you contacted the police at all? Also make sure you turn up there at all sorts of odd hours. If your horses are being watched with an eye to steal them then this will put them off hopefully.

Any chance of electric taping the field boundary ? could it be just someone wandering past walking a dog and likes to feed the horses or something (after all it is dark so early now).

Obviously I dont know your whereabouts so you would be a better judge.

Its just neighbours of mine used to feed my horses all the time. they would go to one house at 8am every morning for bread, lunch time it was another neighbours for apples and after school it would be another part of the field for the kids coming home from school.

just a thought? hope it is nothing sinister, hearing so much at the moment.
