How much do you do with yours?

Started breaking mine in and she is picking it up very quickly. Just curious to know what others expect and how much to try and attain in the 3yo summer.

Interesting, I have just started mine this week, although he already has been bitted and worn a roller. Mine is a bit weak physically so all I hope for is to get him backed and quietly walking/trotting out round the farm on a hack, then he will be turned away until next year. Mine is 14.2, a newfie x I would guess.
He is bright as a button and after 2 days can walk trot and woah in the lunge pen while being led. Tomorrow a friend is coming to help get him lungeing properly. I won't do much of it but want to long rein so need to get the voice commands started.
Do let me know how you get on. What is yours? Height/breed wise?

Nothing at all in the way of actual backing until turned 4 or in circumstances even later if the horse isn't mature enough at 4.

I do teach to long rein just before four and get used to tack, lunging aids and saddle but don't actually lunge at three. I find long reining out and about is far better in the way of education and less stress on any joints and avoids the going in circles parts. I don't actually do much long reining maybe 10 minutes out and back all in walk with tiny bits of trot on soft enough ground. At that age everything is fun and very much in moderation but I wouldn't put weight in the saddle at all until turned 4.

Edited to add: They are WB types all to make 16hh+.
