Does anyone feed this is a balancer? Would you recommend? A lady on the yard recommended it to me and a friend has recently started her TB on it and I have to say he's looking amazing but not sure if thats the balancer or the hard work he's suddenly in!

Mine refused point blank to eat it!

He is now on Progressive Earth Hoof Pro balancer, which some people think isn't palatable. However my boy much prefers to when we tried the 365.

Sorry if that isn't helpful!

I read all the hype about 365 and fell for it and bought a massive tub to supplement my gang while out on summer grazing without hard feed.
My cob instantly broke out in hives which went away when I stopped giving the 365 and came back as soon as I tried it again. He is sensitive so not a total surprise but still annoying.
My other two, however, are looking very well and look more looked after than they usually do when they live out. Young chap seems less spooky so I think the previous diet was leaving him with a deficiency.
The tub will probably last forever.
All mine eat it with just a tiny sprinkle of chaff and I think it smells really nice myself!
I'll have a more reliable report after ~6 months.

I may give it a go and see how we get on! He's currently on the Spillers Lite and Lean Balancer and I've been recommended to try it instead.

I've been tempted by it. I've used Equilibra for which mine looked FAB on (he gained weight, shine, and kept a relatively dark coat especially as he's tended to bleach out no matter the "summer" weather) and have received a lot of compliments. I'm trying the Equimins AC as seen on here from barefoot people since this year has been such a challenge (like no other). I have been tempted by the 365 Complete but haven't taken the plunge.

I think it is pretty low in amount of active ingredients. The website doesnt mention amount fed per day at all. Just lists ingredients without quantities.

This thread has a photo the back of the tub. Ingredients are listed in amount per KG fed. Which is not very helpful at all, as I expect feed under 50gms per day. When scaled down the active ingredients of the label look pretty low!

When feeding a balancer, I want to know the amount of copper, zinc, magnesium, selenium etc. I am going to be feeding to my horse a day!

Supplements with good level are proud of their contents and make this easy to find.

Personally i would avoid 365 and go for a more transparent company.
