So.. this is what 37hh worth of equine sounds like coming towards you at speed when they want their tea. There’s my boy Jacob (18.3) and another warmblood Moon (18.2) ?. Quite disconcerting. You can also hear me swiftly moving out of the way of Jacobs sliding stop at the end. I am COVERED in mud, so much for heading to the gym after!

Please say a small prayer also for the field - it is an absolute lake near the gate and at the top of the hill where they came from, despite mud mats, but the other 5 or 6 acres is fine, so they’re still out as much as possible.

Well you are braver than I am! Rose and Fatty compete to be the first to get to me when I get them in, unfortunately if Fatty wins, Rose has a meltdown and in the wet and mud we have ATM it's just a bit scary even though it's light. I hate it when it's like this, horses in, want to be out, horses out, want to be in. Roll on better weather. I am Olympia tomorrow and they have to be brought in by OH and woman who helps me in the morning, I am just a bit worried!

These two are the same, if Moon gets to me first Jacob comes in like whirlwind!

Enjoy Olympia!! I am very jealous! I am sure they'll be fine, bar some potential mud skiing!

Well it was quite an event this evening as we all stood by the farm gate. While the horses stood watching us from afar.

I think between us we were silently contemplating that wellies would not be up to the job...

Waders.... are waders cheap? How about fishing the horses in on a giant reel? Why can't we keep horses in a disused car park instead?

I have considered buying a canoe.. I have ample towing power.. although saying that, that would mean I have to catch one of them first!
