3ring gags... opinions?

hey =)
i use a 3 ring gag on my mare but dont really like it
however, she gets 2 strong 4 anything less
i only ever use it on the 2nd ring dwn but is there any other bits i can try?

Um... she needs holding in. she wil just go sometimes when shes wants to shes not bad just likes 2 gallop =P
i dont no really =S i just feel that when she does pull 2 go im jus pullin her head in n forcing her under

my boy loves his 3 ring happy mouth... in fact he'll lean on just about anything else!! including the waterford!! :O naughty monster!!

but will go anywhere in the happy mouth....

You could try it with a curb strap attached to the top rings.
Antifaz goes really well in his, but can't stand anything with a curb. PF also goes well in the happy mouth version as she can get strong jumping and with this she pays attention.
I'm a fan, but I know it's not a very popular choice of bit!

I use oe occasionally if Chex is getting too strong, but he pulls his head down and tanks off, so its good for getting his head back up again. It works well for that. I use two reins and just ride on snaffle rein most of the time.

I have used the three ring before but found I couldn't steer, in fact I have ended up just using a Myler snaffle (sounds crazy) but he just seemed to really respond to me in this, compared to other bits.
