Harry has been going great in his driving work and we are planning a few shows this summer.

So yesterday we went up the yard to let Josh (my 3yr old son) have a groom but he asked if he could have a ride on Harry. Josh is very confident around the horses and loves going on the carriage but has never really been interested in riding, although has sat on him a couple of times in the field.

SO i dug out Harry's bridle and a roller but at that moment the YO offered me a cub saddle to borrow :)

Here is the result - We spent 20 minutes in the school then walked back to the yard and Harry didnt put a foot wrong and Joshua didnt want to get off !! So i suppose it time i saved up for riding stuff now LOL

First off is a new pic of the boy after winter

hehe, i did feel a twang of guilt that i was being an irresponsible parent (combined age of just 6) but i trust Harry like i have never trusted an animal ever before.

We had tears when he had to get off and he said "can we go to a show now"

UH OH, lol

Gorgeous photos to have to look back on for years to come.

Both boys look well at ease with each other and the situation...you may well have to start saving, lol!
