Note: These horses may have been stolen from elsewhere in the country and dumped - so please forward this wherever you can.

4 ponies are running loose, and in some danger, in the Ferndown area.
They have been loose since Sunday (nearly a week now). The police are aware but there doesn't seem to be much the police can do about them.
The ponies are friendly and handleable and look very well cared for - so they are very likely someone's much loved horses.
Location: they are running loose at the Ferndown end of Parley Common. They are getting on to the Heatherlands Estate in Ferndown and are also able to get down the footpath past Oakdene Caravan Park and onto the main A31 dual carriageway - where they would be very likely to get hit by traffic.
They could have come from Hern or fields around the lane running up to Matchams or anywhere connected to Matchams Woods.
All 4 ponies are forester types:
1) Light Bay Gelding, 13.2hh, fine build and pretty
2) Chestnut Mare, looks forester, 14hh
3) Light Bay Mare, looks forester, 13.2hh
4) Coloured (orange and white) Gelding, 14hh, forester cross
Please call Shari on 0771 9619625 for more information and help
Please spread the word and let anyone you know with horses in the Ferndown area.
Also - if there is anyone with a couple of hourse to spare near Ferndown, Shari could do with some extra people to help herd the horses to somewhere safer.
