4-Nil to the Good Guys

Polo returned to safely to his owner.
Skye safely returned to her owner.
Harley now known as Safari and Baz found safe but matters yet to be resolved.

No thanks to the dodgy horse dealers involved in these cases (You know who they are?)

WARNING-Delaying tactics, not allowing you to visit=panic? Whatever the case get a WRITTEN AGREEMENT/CONTRACT with an independant WITNESS

These few loan problems do not in any way out do the vast amount of loan homes that work fantastically for many people. We only get to hear the bad

Well done. Hopefully the two found but not solved cases will be sorted soon and the horses will be reunited with their true owners.

Sadly there are still other Missing on loan horses out there and I have heard that some unethical loaners will try to get the owner to 'buy' their horse back.

Apart from micro chipping, freezemarking and letting the PIO know that the horse is on loan and not sold - are there any other ways that an owner can protect themselves?

Also there is a horse posted about on AL and it seems that the owner living in England and the loaner living in Scotland is making things more complicated from a legal point of view.
