i posted in the news section and to be honest whilst hes good hes not a prodigy as he being described. they said he has won 25rosettes so far, although i am not a showing bod you can get a wodge of cash get a decent show pony stick a kid on it win some prizes.Although saying that that pony looked really lovely. Its good exsposure for the sport (and his sponsors!) too!
Didn't see the programme but saw the phots of him when it was discussed before. He looks a cute little kid and the pony seems very sweet and willing - a combination like that will always do well in the show ring. He seems a good little rider, I dont know if I'd got as far as calling him a prodigy, but I hope he carries on enjoying himself.
I taught a 3yo at Pony Club, very serious and determined doing rising trot etc
At that time as competent as most 6yo in his ride, but again super obedient narrow pony--very safe
He left PC at 11/12 to BSJA ponies--they would be bought cheap and sold at profit Now earns a living backing and bringing horses on BSJA, not a top name but regularly placed on the circuit
