Hi Guys !
So yeah title says it all really I have a 4 year old who has been broken for about 8 months but ridden on slowly she will walk trot canter and slow down transitions I can have her galloping in a field and bar the bucks or excitement she will slow to a walk with light pressure to but it's just stopping really she will stop but she doesn't want to stand for like more than a second ! and sometimes is she is pretty " fresh " shall we say she will like put her head up and bit and i suppose evade the bit a little ? or maybe thats her response to preassure. So how can I stop this ? I have tried like stopping her and as soon as she stop release preassure but she just heads straight off again !
Do I just need to repeat repeat repeat or are there any other exercises/things I can try ? And thanks guys !
