The Weatherbeeta jasper combo is 420gsm. Nice rug and toasty warm on my boy. Only downside is that I think it's this rug that's causing most of trouble in rubbing the mane away at the bottom of the neck

Have a look on equestrian clearance.com I find them pretty good price wise and they have a great selection too.

Have a good shop around though - tonnes of time before that type of weather I hope!!

Look at the barnstomers website, under the shires section they have a Shires Snug rug which is even heavier than the chillcheeta, but can't remember the exact weight though! xxxx
