Stupid question but can you fit them in your car? can you even lift them?

Farmer says they are more economical (even though more expensive per bale!) than the 25kg haylage bales you can buy at feed merchants.

Depends on your car:D I could only get one or maybe 2 at a push in my car because of their shape/bulk but I can easily get 6 25kg ones in and 8 at a push. The 40kg ones are great but we had ours delivered - they are so heavy I cannot lift one by myself.

how long do they last you?

We're still on the first one and it's been 5 days with two horses and two ponies on it and we have a third of a bale left. I reckon on average we'll get through one a week with them. They live out 24/7 and each pair have a haybar full am and pm. Much better value for us than the little ones.

(PS I don't tend to answer on behalf of others but misst is my mum!)
