4x4 Car Insurance

Ive just had a letter about renewing my 4x4 insurance and its quite high!! Who does everybody else use and if you don't mind me asking how much do you pay? Thankies x

I go through a brockers call Sennock and my acutal insurance is with Zurich.

I have had a bad history in the past and these guys have been fantastic at a)getting me insured and b)now I'm a better risk insured very cheeply.

I use Norwich Union and pay about £36 a month. Thats a hell of a lot less than I pay for Archies insurance aswell !!

Try Tesco, cheaper than most. Great service, protected no claims. Excellent to deal with if ever you need to claim.

Im currently insured with More Than. Its about £60 a month but I have a Land Rover Pick up so its classed as a truck so the premiums are more expensive.

Direct Line, think its about £35 a month, cheaper than Cropi's insurance!! Thats for a couple of year old Disco

Go to Travel Supermarket.com and get some comparative quotes. I go with the Post Office and pay just £150 fully comp for the year for a Toyota Rav 4 (high excess mind!)

I used Confused.com and ended up with Sheilas Wheels. If you dont mind embarassingly pink paperwork they were very cheap! (£25/month approx). Thats for a 4 year old Trooper and includes 'Business usage' as I have to travel to clients for my job.

You can always, without fail, beat your renewal premium by shopping around. Then when you ring your current insurer to tell them to stick their vastly overinflated price, they offer to reduce it! Why not just do that in the first place? I hate shopping for car insurance. The online search engines are pretty good.
