Hihi,
I wondered if anyone has any bright ideas, I am a teacher so have 5 weeks off over the summer (I know, sorry to all of those that only have about 14 days off a yr) and need to find some way to occupy myself.
I should stay at home and do jobs but a) I have no money to buy materials for said jobs b) I go a bit loopy if I spend too much time alone and c) when I go back to work it won't feel like I have had a break. If I can I like to spend the summer doing something horsey and outdoors. I don't have my own and am currently a bit down about my riding.
At the moment my ideas are
1) offer to help out at the riding school I go to (+'s.... may get some free riding, fairly low stress -'s... 40-45min drive away)
2) Offer to help out at a small comp/training/dealer yard like i did last year (+'s ... close, should be fairly flexible -'s.... run by v. alpha female who sometimes scares me, can be quite stressful, most of riding is hacking which isn't my thing)
3) have a ring around maybe and try and find somewhere else horsey to help at??
Any ideas? Ta
