50ml syringes

Where can i buy a 50ml syringe from??

I have put Lia on coligone and she is on day 3 of the 5 day loading dose, we are using the liquid (powder still hasn't arrived) and i need to syringe it into her mouth.

I had a syringe but, in a temper last night she bit it and has cracked it so now i don't have one.
My friend has lent me a 20ml but you only get the chance to get the syringe in once before she clamps her mouth shut so to get 50mls of coligone into her with a 20ml syringe isn't going to be easy!

Would the chemist sell them? If i can help it i'd rather not have to drive over to my vets to get one, it may be my only option though.

Any idea's guys??

You can get one from your Vet or alternatively you could use a well washed out worm doser ... the StrongidP ones are great

Good plan, however because i have been off work for a few days i have been spending time at the yard doing odd jobs and bits, including getting rid of my rubbish, damn it, i knew i shouldn't have had a good clear up.

I think a trip to the vets is on the cards for this afternoon

ended up doing a trip to the vets, accidentally i ended up passing a tack shop where i accidentally bought a new rug

Pls ignore my message on your answerphone re undelivered goods!

We got the liquid on Saturday morning, Saturday evening it was put to the test when my friends horse came in with a colicky tummy, he was all gassy and bloated and generally uncomfortable.

He has had colic surgery so she is careful with him at the best of times, she gave him 50mls of Coligone, and called the vet, it took about 40 to 50 mins but he was a lot better, vet came and checked him over about an hr and half after the onset and she was happy with him, just gave him a small amount of bute and muscle relaxant just to be on the safe side, and really only because of his past history, having had a colic op etc.
I am trying to persuade her to put him on the powder!!

Aw that's great that it worked for your friend - Talk about good timing sending it on an overnight!
