51/4" bit

My riding instructor has suggested we try Ollie in loose ring snaffle. His old eggbutt was a 5" so bought him a 5" loose ring. The loose ring is just the tiniest bit too tight though, and a 5.5 is too big. Is it possible to get a 51/4" one? Looked in 2 local tack shops, and neither one sold them.

yes I used to use them on my old girl and there's lots on ebay.

Yes, of course it is, ask for a 13cm (this is 5 1/4").

Do you use rubber bit rings? I always would with a loose ring and if so they would make a 5 1/2" fit.
