Not surprised, nice deep chested with plenty of heart room..... Lovely. My Two wern't that far away in their girth sizes

I have a 54 on mine and he is not especially large and fat.
He also has the same size rug as a friend's taller and longer warmblood to go round his chest and shoulders.

My TB wore a 54" and he wasn't fat.
I also think it has a lot to do with the saddle and how long the girth straps are, by boy wore a 48" girth with his last saddle and a 54" in this one!
