As Fabio gets really strong when cantering behind others, i usually ride him in a waterford for hacking. I've been using a full cheek version and got away with a 6", however i needed just a touch more control so tried him in a waterford gag on the 2nd ring and was far better! No fighting! But - i definitely need at least a 6.25" if not a 6.5" in this and not many places seem to do them (given that most places do bits in a 6" and you're supposed to go up a size for waterfords - i'm not sure why they don't do the bigger sizes!)

Has anyone got one for sale? If not, can anyone give me recommendations for places that sell them? At the moment the cheapest i can find is £80! Also - the Neue Schule waterford universal - would this essentially be the same as using a waterford 2 ring gag or slightly less as the 2nd ring is built into the main ring? I could get one of these on trial to check but again if i want to buy then looking between £80-90.

One of horses takes a 6.25 and I usually find what I'm looking for in that size from the Horse Bit Bank. Not sure if they have what you are looking for but worth a look.
