Can't believe my boy is 6 months old today!

We decided to go and buy him a "big boy" bed. He will still sleep at night in his crate but during the day, he quite often crashes out under the radiator... At some point he is gonna grow out of his crate anyway, but while he still fits, that's where he'll be!

He also got a "honking pheasant" as a present!

Cor thats one swanky big boy bed! :D My lot would fight him for that one! :p
*pssst* thats a duck not a pheasant! :D :D :p tut! ;)

LOL! :D
They do a pheasant to match, my lot have one so you know what to get for his first birthday!!! ;) :p

I am desperate to buy Herman a bed for his birthday (April 13th) but he won't sleep on them - pushes them out the way and sleeps where they were. Idiot. The only place he will sleep on a bed is in his crate where he doesn't have any choice!

A box, however. He slept in that. Until I ripped it down the side, thinking he looked a bit squashed (it was a small box!) and he got out and then lay with his chin resting in it, looking at me every so often as if to say 'You ruined my box :( '

Happy birthday and it's a lovely bed! Is it a Scruffs one? Love the paw dangling out the side!

It was from Pets at Home... £32.99!! Not too posh! It has a zip (hidden thankfully, so he won't chew it, he has a thing about zips, he chews them and breaks them and I then sow them shut!), so the cover is removable so I could wash it.

As soon as he was let out of crate this morning and had his toilet stop and breakfast he grabbed his "DUCK" (lol!) and went and sat in his bed! He really does love it! Just come back from a walk straight onto bed! Ha ha!

thought so! he is very similar to my parents bitch, she is getting more brindle with age, she looks alot older than she is!

we have had a wired haired pointer before, she was far more sensible compared to their 2 shortys! :P :)

oh and i got the duck to :D went out to buy her a new bed and thought they were a bargain and she has destroyed all her toys and seen the duck, must be something about them, not that shes well enough to play with the duck anyway, i love your woofer, iv got a thing for pointers, we got two at work and they are fab.

Oh Cayla don't say that!! He's never chewed, ripped or torn anything!! I have sown up the odd soft toy that he's got a bit rough with, and the zip on his bed in his crate.... But he's never touched anything else!! Maybe we haven't got there yet.... As I said though, he's still gonna go in his crate at night and when he's home alone. I don't know when the right "time" is to not.... When he's outgrown his crate and I don't have a choice I expect!

Thank you for all the lovely comments! :)
