6 weeks barefoot: hoof looking any better?

Shoes off on the 4th July after 5 weeks in heart bar shoes after ddft tear diagnosis in May.

Near fore on the 10th July

Near fore on the 15th August

He is much more comfortable, walking in hand 15 mins. per day over concrete/farm tracks and turned out for a few hours in a v small paddock.

I am really pleased with our progress, but what do all the hoof experts think?

I've been taking photos (not very well) but it isn't until you put them next to each other you can really appreciate the changes.

Look at the change in the hairline to show you how much stronger and more supportive his heels are. Fantastic progress, well done to both of you
