i need to buy horse new rug s old one (premier equine) has rubbed withers badly so she needs wither relief which seems to be only WB. they only do 600d light and med weight rugs. we are having very heavy and sometimes long showers or rain events here and i am worried it will leak but cant seem to find 1000 or 1200d lightweight rugs that i know wont rub her? I see swish do but i dont know what they like as she has prominent withers. part TB.
 
If you are looking for 600D (?not sure) then I have two Amigo 600 LW and they are as light as a feather, plus on the one mare who seems to move over just about most rugs, they don't move an inch.
 
Most light weights won't hold out for a lot of rain. Id get a 100g rug if the rain is that bad. Not sure about Robinsons 100g but their 200g rugs have 1600d so might be worth a look?
 
I have a 600d Amigo Mio mediumweight. As said above, light as a feather and hasn't leaked at all. As they're so light and the lining is silky, they skim over the horse and don't weigh down over withers.

Swish rugs are excellent too. I have two of their rugs (love my 75g red one with detachable neck which is currently on special offer at £55) and will get more if needed.
