6yr old - just been backed - would you buy?

I've backed and brought on 2 between pregnancy and now having a 5 year old (child!). Both horses were easy going and had done all their groundwork with me as 3 year olds so we knew each other well. Sadly the first was pts, hence having the second, but she's a horse of a lifetime. It can be done when they're sensible, it just takes longer as you'll have many, many unplanned breaks in their education. But at the same time it gives them time to process, which is a big help ime.

Absolutely No Way as you have a restricyed time and a toddler and you can not afford to be out of action. What you need is a proven 100% reliable established horse that knows it's job and is totally safe.

Women having a life aswell as children? ? they’ll be wanting the vote next ?

Thanks all! On reflection with a toddler I don’t have time for A youngster anymore so I’m not going to see her! I’m going to look for something I can get on and go with!
