I agree, a pony of that size cannot possibly live with horses of that size, getting injured would be the least of my concerns as it is likely to be down with laminitis within a week, my sec a lives on a area about the size of an arena, gets a few inches extra every few days and is still not dropping weight, if put her in my 6 acre field she would have laminitis within days.
