How deep are these? Would it be suitable for a 16.1 Percheron x Bardigiano who's very wide and deep chested? Last 7ft rug tried on looked like a mini skirt apparently! Haven't the money to buy a Rambo XL and need something light weight and cheap and cheerful. Would the Amigo be worth a try, although concerned about the fixed chest fastening with no room to adjust it?

I have a 7' Amigo lightweight - lovely and deep but not very generous at the neck TBH - the Rhino and Rambo versions seem to be better cut. I find the Weatherbeeta range fit a lot better - we have 4 horses all over 17hh and they range from 6'9 to 7'3 in rugs, depending on the make. I have a Premier Equine 7'3 and that's too tight round the shoulders ......

ive got a full up 16.2 ish and he is in a 7'0 amerigo t/o heavy but has a 6'6 weatherbeeta stable.

Aaah, this chap has a simply HUGE neck and crest. His backside is ENORMOUS too - like a table top. Really doubt the fixed front fittings on the Amigo will accommodate him, if yours are a bit tight. He really is exceptionally broad.

I'll have to go and look at the Weatherbeeta rugs. Lay one out and see whether it's deep enough and likely to fit around his massive neck and rump!
