My 7 year old mare has teeth coming through. Is this normal? All my previous horses have never been teething this late. She's been a little unsettled in her mouth - no doubt this is why

Oh dear - no-one else seems to have heard of teething 7 year olds

Yes it is normal. Horses can teeth up to about 7 years old. Our rising 7 year old has some unerupted top teeth, our equine dentist said that is very common. He VERY gently ran the rasp across the gums to help the teeth come through when they are ready.
