Guys and Girls,

I received the below email today, thought I'd post to the forum to spread the word a little further:

Dear riders,

Today, around 12:15pm we were informed by a regular dog walker of a serious incident that occurred around the Longcross/pipeline/Butts Hill area of the common. A female riding a grey/white horse was attacked by a pack of nine dogs being walked by one woman. The witness recorded the event on her phone and when noticed by the woman in charge of the nine dogs was subjected to verbal abuse that she found very distressing. We are aware of the dog walker responsible for this incident (she has received many complaints) and seek to take further action against her, but in order to do this we need further details from the rider involved. Unfortunately the witness did not get to speak to her to find out what yard she was stabled at.

If you know of this rider could you please ask her to contact the rangers office on the below number, or to contact myself on my mobile?

Many thanks in advance for your assistance,

Nicky

Has this been posted on groups on facebook?
Hope the woman gets in contact..

I may have dreamt this.. but - isn't it illegal for 1 person to be walking 9 dogs at once?

If this woman and these dogs have been a problem before she should be prosecuted, and i hope for her sake shes not a paid dog walker because if she'd been responsible for any of my dogs being involved in an attack they could potentially be pts for while supposedly under her control id sue her ass so fast her head would spin
She should be prosecuted for failing to control the animals in a public place

If complaints have been made before and there is now proof (if the rider filmed it) then she most likely will be prosecuted. My dog was attacked by another dog a couple of years ago and turns out mine wasn't the first complaint. The dog in question was PTS, not sure if the owner was prosecuted though.
