Not been sick but has the runs and is def off colour, not eaten anything since last evening and is v quiet in himself. Im fairly sure its something he has eaten that has upset him but how long is it safe to leave him not eating or drinking before I take him to vet. I know if he was a bit older it would be OK for 24 hours but he is still so small, not sure what would be a safe time limit. Im thinking I should book him in this evening if he hasnt perked up, does this sound sensible or panicky?
 
I think I'd take him down now because he's so small and isn't right in himself.

Harley has vomited badly one and had the runs once. Both times I rang the vet for advise and they told me to starve him 24hrs, then start him up on chicken and rice and see what happened. But this was only because he was totally fine in himself.
