This should probably be in the dog forum-might put it in there aswell, my lttle mongrel has done something to her tail and is holding it crookedly. She can wag it and move it but not as much as usual and there is a bend in the middle. She keeps turning around to lick it and theres a lot of heat around the tail and base of the tail. I've has a look at it and theres nothing stuck in it like a thorn or sting. I'm worried it might be broken but she doesn't seem to be in pain, more uncomfortable as she's not crying or whimpering and is in good form. Could it be a trapped nerve or dislocation? She's stretching a lot as if something needs to click. She is the smallest of the dogs and does play rough and tumble so she may well have injured it, anyway I'll see how she is tomorrow and take her to the vet if it's not any better. Heres pic of her- she's lapping up all the sympathy!! Her tail doesn't go up like this anymore, it's kind of bent down from the black bit. Positive vibes for her please and hope it's nothing too serious!
