Bought a five-point competition breastplate early-ish last year. Used it a few times (extra handholds always useful on the Dizzy one). Noticed that the stitching had come loose on the centre section (goes just in front of the pommel). Couldn't remember where I'd bought it from, so did a covering letter and sent it to Jeffries.

They rang the day it arrived, we had a wee chat and they were very apologetic (and assured me it would not have come apart). It's back with me today

Thank you Mr Postie for all the extra working, 'tis much appreciated

Anyhoo, not only have they oiled it and fluffed up the sheepskin bit one of the dogs had a chew on, they have sent me a saddle cover, a bridle bag, a Jeffries keyring and a pot of Jeffries Leathercare

Obviously the extras are nice, and it's advertising for Jeffries, but their quick response, their understanding, and their extra effort is so much appreciated

So, a hugely big thumbs up and a hugely big thank you to Jeffries

this IS good to know and i wish id done the same...

i bought a bridle 2 years ago and after no time at all the throat lash almost looked frayed at the edges:( it only looks 'nice' straight after being cleaned, 10 mins of use and its raggy again. wonder if i should send it in or if its too late now
