Did anyone watch the BBC Documentry "Poor Kids"? http://ht.ly/5TSg6 If you did, you may have seen little Courtney explaining that one of her dreams is to become a female jockey so that she is able to ride a horse...well, we have made her dream of being able to ride a horse come true! Today, Courtney & her 3 sisters are going to have a lesson at one of our Approved Establishments! We're feeling all warm & fuzzy today!

Documentary telling the stories of some of the many children living in poverty in the UK.

Brilliant!
I teach in an area of high deprivation and would love to be able to take some of the children riding. I am still looking for some sort of sponsorship/grant to allow this to happen (my pupils are infants).
I have in the past been able to take pupils from a similar area to RDA because they also had SEN but can't sort anything out in my current areas.

That is fab!

You never know Courtney could be the next equestrian superstar, but unless she gets the opportunities we will never find out.

Hi Everyone

Courtney and her mum/sisters all had a fabulous time last week on their lesson and we would like to thank Throstle Nest Riding School (one of our BHS Approved Establishments) for working so hard to ensure they had a wonderful time and that Courtney's dream really did come true!

This is just a very quick update following our Facebook thread, full story (and photos/videos) will follow shortly!
