Bit of a silly question really, but here goes..
My mare takes a french link egg butt snaffle and this is what i bought her to go with he new ridle, but when i get down the yard its the right size and everything but her old one seems to have bigger flatter rings, i dont know whether to toss the new bit and find one with the same size rings or give it ago, what would you do? do you think it will effect her majorly? i understand it must effect her in some way as it would fall diffrentley on her cheeks?
Any comments help apreciated, Thank you:)

The horse can only be ridden by one person at a time so why is more than one bridle needed?

If you want your own bridle that kinda makes sense. If she had a French link eggbutt before and you've got a French link eggbutt now I don't see it's going to make much difference. Try it and see!!!

I just wanted to get her my own tack that's all:)
i'll give it ago, its just the size of the cheek pieces I wasn't sure if it would effect the action of the bit.

if it's still a snaffle the action will be the same, if rings are a bit bigger then all you have to do is put the cheekpieces up a hole so its fits :)

It is my understanding that the smaller the rings the less severe the action of the bit is. In short I don't think it will make much noticeable difference to you though.
