Vet came to give D his 2 month trot up yesterday and turned to my Mum and said

"I am very sorry, you have lost your dressage horse. He is fit to event again!"

Yay (poor Mum I am hijacking him for eventing again!)

Will take it very slow and build his fitness up for the next month then I have to start jumping again.

We were told it was very unlikely he would jump again and it could still go t*ts up!

But Yay!

That's fantastic news! Great to hear something positive for a change. I've heard too many horrible tales recently re event horses who are having to give up their careers.

Look forward to seeing you out and about next season!
