Well my lad had his heart bars re-fitted today by my farrier - during laminitis recovery treatment. He has laminitis in his left fore but on trimming the foot there was nothing...no bruising not a thing even though he was lame on thie foot and the xrays show rotation in it too! However, his hind feet show mild laminitis and this was not picked up at all by anyone...what the hell!
 
Hi Hun, No two Lami cases are the same, Mine was sound with 10 degree rotation!!!!!!!! Its great that the farrier found no bruising BUT don't get complacent stick with the treatment, don't get tempted to rush things. Gens been out of jail now for a week and would not be caught tonight!! skipping round me squealing and bucking, not a hint of a limp! You'll get there and its looking good so far Best wishes Dx
