A calmer to give before a show - Ideas?

I want to take my youngster to her first show soon and although calm and pretty stress free I just want a calmer to give her before the show to dispel any tension and anxiety once at the show.

What calmers do you recommend to give?

My friend swears by Oxyshots. Good for those horses where magnesium calmers don't have the desired effect!

I would reccomend using something like rescue remedy. Used it on all of mine to get rid of anxiety when travelling and showing. And also used some on me!! ha ha
Also you can top up over the day as and when you need it without worrying if your giving too much.

but just be aware (although you may not have had this done yet as you have a youngster) that horses than tend to fight sedation also fight calmers.

The Carl Hester instant magnesium calmer worked really well for mine and the tack shop I got it from sells out within two days of getting it in (weekly) which is always a good sign
