A challenge for you lot

Ok, I am in North Dorset
I have a 'beach bag' full of old, but still usable tack and ''stuff'' I want to donate.
I don't mind who I donate to, either a rescue charity or an RDA centre (or any other suggestions welcome).
I can't send the stuff in the post - too heavy and would cost me a fortune.
I don't/can't travel too far to drop things off, lack of decent car, and young kiddies in tow doesn't make it a pleasurable experience to drive for hours!!

So, can anyone help?
Suggest ideas please, or if anyone is within striking distance and can relay said items to destination, I would be very grateful!

have a search for local charities, then call them saying you are happy to donate if they could collect? should work?

the ilph have a branch in somerset somewhere.. could try them? Not 100% whether tack would be much use but worth a try..
