A day full of highs and lows.... longish

Well took Katie back to stud for her heartbeat scan, sadly no foal, but on the plus side no fluid either so very pleased about this as vet said that if she had filled with fluid again then he was going to say not to bother trying again next yr, but he thinks we should go for it next yr. He already has our plan of action! So was a bit dissapointed but am already looking forward to next season!!

Another plus today she loaded like a dream without one seconds hesitation so was over the moon, its the quickest she has loaded in the 5 years ive had her, It was that bad at one point if i was going anywhere i would have to leave at least an hour to load her or arrange stabling and go the day before.

I am trying to see the bigger picture and focus on the positives, ive felt so many different emotions today i feel wrung out now!!

Oh what a shame about the foaly, sorry i don't know the history but presume theres a reason for it, try try try again as they say!

Thats great about the loading, it can be such a pain to have a horse that is difficult to load. It just goes to show that even though it's taken 5 yrs things do eventually go right!
