well two firsts ;)

Today, Scoobs had his first physio appointment. But silly me forgot to organise transport so I thought "yeah... we'll bus it over" and he was a superstar!!! Got on the bus, sat down, greeted people politely and watched the world go by out of the window. Was so pleased with him because normally he can be a bit in your face and even when the school kids got on he was nice and calm and steady.

Got to the farm for his physio and my friends dog went mental at him. Scoobs was a bit bewildered but he didn't argue back so another good boy!!

However, his back is a little sore. His conformation is awful, he has a very long roached back and very upright back legs which makes him prone to getting sore hips and a sore part in the middle of his back. The physio couldn't feel any old injuries so thats good news at least, he did whinge a bit because it was sore but nothing as bad as i thought he was going to be. And his front end is all okay at the minute too :D

Just have simple exercises to do, sit to stand, a massage and some pushing against him to build up his back end a bit more. He needs to put a little weight on but she said nothing to worry about, especially when he is a finicky eater anyway and he doesn't care about food really!
He also needs a new bed and i am off on the hunt for some high calorie dog food/treats. Also needs to be kept warm which I have been doing (he was wearing my t-shirt under his coat!)

She said there is no reason why in the spring that he can't start agility training :D.

Just happy that there is nothing majorly wrong with him and he behaved himself for once!
