i think i'm just used to quick maturing flat bred TB's, all of which have bottoms to die for and look far more mature than anything else thier age, the yearling i put a photo of on bb's thread is one we felt was too weak to have any real chance as a 2yo, yet compared to a event bred 2 yo he's much stronger, he'll probably go jumping instead, and will hopefully make a very nice horse.... keep telling myself i do not need any more potential event horses!!
